Spleen is a metalcore band from Montpellier, France, that is blending modern and raw.
They give a new intense and emotionally driven persepective to the genre, with also black / death / influences.
The band oscillates between desperate melodies and destructive rythms , and is powerful yet emotional, echoing inner turmoil and confronting the listener with a pain that doesn't seek to be soothed, but simply experienced.
With nearly 700,000 streams and around 50 live shows since 2024, the band has quickly established itself as one of the emerging acts to watch within the French metal scene.
Following the release of their debut EP in 2024 and several singles, Spleen has built a strong identity both on record and on stage, like recently 666 festival, spirit in black and xtremefest to name a few.
In January 2026, the band reached a new milestone, joining Resolve and Silent Planet for a French tour that took them to some of the country’s biggest venues. The run further showcased Spleen’s ability to deliver on larger stages while reaching an ever-growing audience.
The next chapter is already underway. A new single called "The Extreme Limit of What My Brain Can Handle" is set for release in September 2026, leading into the writing and production of the band’s debut full-length album.
With strong live experience, a growing audience and a new musical era on the horizon, Spleen is ready to take things to the next level.
